Chunky Cabled Lounge socks

A super quick textured sock for lounging around the house or wearing to bed on a cold night. Simply constructed with 2 needles and easy to follow classic cables and moss stitch.
Easily adapted in foot length and height, this is a great sock for all the family.

Ability: Intermediate
Skills Required: You will need to be able to work a simple rib, a classic cable and a Moss stitch.  You will also need to be able to work Increases and decreases and short row shaping.

Sizes to Fit: One Size
This has been written to fit an average adult foot of UK 4-6 but it is easily adjusted in height and foot length.  It has negative ease and will stretch to fit.

Leg Height:28cm/11in
Foot Length: 23cm/9in

Materials Required: 
One pair of 7mm (US 10 ½ -11)needles
Cable needle
Tapestry needle for sewing up
Approx 160g - 200g  of My Barefaced Chunky (Bulky)
Wool Alpaca (approx. 170m-212m )

Tension:
Using 7mm (US 10 ½ -11) needles over 10 x 10cm (4 x 4in:
In st st -  12sts x  17rows
In Cable pattern - 18 sts x 17rows

Tensions are provided should you wish to substitute an alternative yarn to that suggested by us. Please ensure you knit a tension square to check that the yarn is suitable as not all yarns will give a like for like result.
