Frost Headband Knitting Pattern

Ability: Easy
Skills Required: This is a Beginner to Easy project, with simple stitches and construction. You will need to be able to work basic stocking st (stockinette st) and moss st (seed st). For version 2 you will also need to work a simple cable. 
Yarn Type: We used Rowan Purelife British Sheep Breeds Chunky 100% undyed wool
Yarn Shade: Photography shows Blue Faced Leicester and Steel Grey Suffolk
Yarn Weight: Chunky / bulky

Frost Version One: In Simple Rib

Toddler - 35.5cm-40.5cm (14 -16in)
Child/Small Adult - 40.5cm-45.5cm (16 – 18in)
Average Adult - 50.5cm (20in)

Frost Version Two (classic cable)

*Both Frost Versions require approx. 30g [50g : 60g]

50g(approx. 120m / 131yds). *Yarn amounts are based on average requirements and are approximate. You may wish to order an extra ball/skein to be sure you have sufficient yarn.

Materials Required:
One pair of straight 7mm needles (US 10½ - 11)
A cable needle
Stitch holders
Tapestry needle for sewing up.

Tension:
13 sts x 18 rows to 10 x 10cm (4 x 4in) in st st using 7mm (US 10.5 - 11) needles.
