Innocent Smoothie Big Knit- Northumberland Beanie Hat Pattern

The Big Knit is back! Innocent started the Big Knit back in 2003 with an idea. Innocent asked people to knit little woolly hats, then put those hats on their smoothies. For each sold, they gave 25p to Age UK.

Since then, you incredible bunch have knitted an astonishing 7.5 million hats. Together nearly £2.5 million has been raised for Age UK.

If you’ve ever bought a smoothie or knitted a hat, thank you for being part of the Big Knit.

Hats off to you - and now it's your turn to join in again!

Jo Storie, in collaboration with Age UK Northumberland is hosting a big knit at her design studio in Rothbury on the 8th June 2019 10am-2pm so why not come and join in?
