Ability: Easy
Skills Required: You will need to be able to work a basic rib and a simple cable and be able to decrease stitches.
Yarn Type: I used I used 100% Italian Merino Wool in Aran weight from Baruffa in oatmeal 302 colour (Machine Washable), 2 x 50g balls (68m/74y per 50g)
Yarn Weight: Aran

Sizes to Fit:

Child 
Circumference to fit up to 46cm/18in
Knitted measurements approx: height 22cm/8 ¾ in, circumference 36cm/14in
You will need: 80g (109m/118y)

Adult Female 
Circumference to fit up to 56cm/22in
Knitted measurements approx: height 24cm/9 ¼in, circumference 41cm/16in
You will need: 100g (136m/148y)

Adult Male 
Circumference to fit up to 61cm/24in
Knitted measurements approx: height 29cm/11 ½in, length 48cm/19in
You will need: 100g (136m/148y)

*Requires approx.2 x 50g balls (68m/74y per 50g). Yarn amounts are based on average requirements and are approximate. You may wish to order an extra ball/skein to be sure you have sufficient yarn.

 

Materials Required:
You will need:
One pair 4 ½ mm (US 7) straight needles
Tapestry needle for sewing up

Tension:
In st st using 4 ½mm (US 7) needles: 18sts x 23sts over 10 x 10cm (4 x 4in)
