Description

Alnwick is a boxy fit chunky turtleneck with an oversized embossed leaf texture and feature ¾ balloon sleeve. The neck is worked in Fishermans rib but instructions have also been given for brioche rib.

Knitting ability:  Experienced

Skills required :

You’ll need to be able to work a lace pattern. We’ve added row by row and charted instructions. You will also have the option to work a Fishermans rib or a brioche rib for the neck.

1 pair of 6mm (UK 4/US 10) knitting needles

1 pair of 7mm (UK 2/US 10½-11) knitting needles

A 5mm (UK 6/US 8) circular needle, 40cm long if working Brioche neck edging

A 6mm  (UK 4/US 10) circular needle, 40cm long if working Fisherman’s rib neck edging

Locking stitch markers,  Stitch holders or waste yarn

TENSION:

12.5 stitches x 18 rows to 10cm over rev st st using 7mm needles, after light steaming
