Skills Required: You will need to be able to work a simple Fisherman’s rib (brioche rib) and be able to make decreases.
Yarn Type: Any Chunky weight yarn. I used Rowan’s ‘Cocoon’ 80% Wool/ 20% Mohair (Made in Britain) in Chunky weight

Sizes to Fit: This is a snug fit turban hat and should be worked small to allow it to stretch into shape on the head.

One pair 6mm (US10 ) straight needles
Tapestry needle for sewing up
Yarn approximately : size 1= 150m/173m, Size 2=164m/190
Tension:
In Fisherman’s Rib (Brioche rib) pattern using 6mm (US10) needles:
14sts x 28 rows in 10 x 10cm (4 x 4in) measured relaxed not stretched.
Adjust your needle size to match this tension.
