1940’s inspired slimfit crewneck aran st sweater, with pretty puff shoulder detail.

One pair each of 2¾mm (US2) and 3¾mm (US5) straight needles
2¾mm (US2) circular needles
Cable needle
Tapestry needle for sewing up
Row counters and stitch markers. 

Tension:
23 sts x 30 rows to 10 x 10cm (4 x 4in) worked in pineapple st using 3¾mm (US 5) needles.
36 sts x 30 rows to 10 x 10cm (4 x 4in) worked in cable and rib using 3¾mm (US 5) needles.
Equivalent in st st 25 sts x 30 rows using 3¾mm (US 5) needles.27 sts x 30 rows over 10 x 10cm (4 x 4in) in mistake rib st using 3.75mm (US 5) needles 
17 sts x 30 rows over 10 x 10cm (4 x 4in) in bee st using 3.75mm (US 5) needles.
