Ability: Intermediate
Skills Required: You will need to be able to work in fairisle and intarsia and follow a pattern chart. You will also need to know how to work a simple moss stitch pattern and understand short row shaping.
Yarn Type: I used Rowan Purelife 100% British wool
Yarn Shade: Colour A - Steel Grey Suffolk, Colour B - Mid-Brown Jacob

Knitted measurements approx: width 17cm / 6¾in, length 45cm / 17¾in
You will need: Colour A (Steel Grey Suffolk) 2 balls/ skeins, Colour B (Mid Brown Jacob) 1 balls/ skeins
*100g (approx 110m / 120yds).
Yarn amounts are based on average requirements and are approximate. You may wish to order an extra ball/skein to be sure you have sufficient yarn.

Tapestry needle for sewing

6 x 3cm (1¼in) buttons
Tension:
13 sts x 18 rows to 10 x 10cm (4 x 4in) in st st using 7mm (US 10½) needles.
