Ability: Easy
Skills Required: This is an easy pattern which requires you to work basic stitches, including a classic cable and has very simple shaping and finishing.
Yarn Type: We used Rowan ‘Big’ 100% Merino Wool Roving

Sizes to Fit: Our model and namesake is a Jack-a-poo and he is wearing size 1
Size One: (small) - Chest to fit 35.5-46cm (14-18in)
Chest at widest - 44cm (17in)
Length from nape of neck to bottom:
Size 1 (small) - 31cm (12¼in)
You will need: 1 x 100g balls of Rowan ‘Big wool’
Size Two: (medium) - Chest to fit 46-56cm (18-22in)
Chest at widest - 54cm (21in)
Length from nape of neck to bottom:
Size 2 (medium) - 41cm (16¼in)
You will need: 2 x 100g balls of Rowan ‘Big wool’
*1 ball = approx 80m/87yds (100g)
Yarn amounts are based on average requirements and are approximate. You may wish to order an extra ball/skein to be sure you have sufficient yarn.
Materials Required:
You will need:
1 pair each of 9mm (US 13) and 12mm (US 17) straight needles
Cable needle and a tapestry needle for sewing.
Tension:
10.5 sts x 11.5 rows to 10 x 10cm (4 x 4in) in cable and rib pattern using 12mm (US17) needles.
